ABOUT KATE KNIGHT

Hi, I’m Kate. I am the founder and lead strategist behind Bellwether Impact Strategies, and I am happiest building something at the corner of business and social good.

As a student of human-centered design, I know that empathy can lead us to the best solutions we weren’t even looking for. I’ve spent the last decade leading and coaching social innovation startups in North Texas. I’ve counseled hundreds of innovators, coaching them on business models, social impact, fundraising, and operations. Will you be the next?

As the founding Director of Impact at United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, I pioneered social innovation work across the organization, building their Social Innovation Accelerator from an idea to a nationally recognized program for identifying, nurturing, and implementing groundbreaking community impact.

I am a proud TexasMBA (Hook 'em Horns!) where I first flexed my social impact consulting muscle, as a Curtis W. Meadows, Jr. Social Enterprise Fellow in post-earthquake Haiti.

I pride myself on my reputation for “getting sh*t done” - which is what I will do for you. While my style is straight-to-the-point, I am also known for always looking for ways to make the mundane fun and the ordinary entertaining. I would love the opportunity to work with you and help guide your organization’s impact for the future.
